Harris American Company

Harris American Company builds the balers that clear scrap out of a corrugated plant. The company brings together American Baler, Harris Equipment and International Baler — three names Avis Industrial merged into a single business in 2023 — and it invented the first automatic tier more than eighty years ago.

For box plants the line is the PAC, 29N, WN and WS series: horizontal auto-tie balers fed straight off the plant air trim system, plus the above ground and pit conveyors built to feed them. All four share a single tension cylinder with hinged side and top channels, the pull-technology auto-tier, a renewable subfloor liner system and Category III safety as standard.
